Hello Cat Pointe Music Family & Friends,

 

Kristi and I need to tell you of a decision we have had to make. Because of the situation with the coronavirus pandemic, the quarantine, shelter in place orders and the very real possibility of further spread of COVID-19, we have made the decision to close Cat Pointe Music. This has been a painful and very sad decision to come to but we feel it is the right one given all the unknowns and potential dangers to both the artists and audience.

 

Our wonderful partner Carol Harris, whose Wombat Sound Music operates in the same studio space as Cat Pointe Music, is no longer teaching out of the studio. She is teaching online and we are very glad for her and her students that, despite the very great obstacles the coronavirus pandemic has presented, Carol is keeping music alive and well albeit in the venue of cyberspace.

 

As we said, closing Cat Pointe is a deeply painful decision for us. We felt we had a wonderful venue for the diverse talent which we presented to our patrons. It was a very special place for artist and audience alike. We are sorry beyond measure that this action cancels the 2021 concert season. It is our hope and prayer that we can, one day, open Cat Pointe Music again – in the same location or a different one. We cannot know what the future holds. However, you can know that we send you our love, prayers and good wishes for health, safety and success. We hope we will stay in touch with one another and, should the opportunity present itself to us, provide you with a musical venue that is as special and magical as Cat Pointe Music was.
